I went to a great opening tonight called "Concerning Tomorrow" that included work from a few friends and fellow Columbia students: Curtis Mann, Chris Schedel, Matt Siber, Greg Stimac, and Brian Ulrich.

Dawoud Bey

I have been thinking alot about my influences lately. My work may not be very smilar to Dawoud's, but he has helped me to see the world and my own work differently. Dawoud had a lecture tonight about the work in his new book Class Pictures.

Pieter Ombregt

As im sure many of you have heard by now, Chicago Photographer Pieter Ombregt has passed away after a bad accident in a bycicle race. I didnt really know him but i admired his work and see many connections to what i am doing in mine.
